Summer Festivals
The 2008 Summer Festivals have ended; thanks for a season of fun! Please check this page in Spring 2009 for updated information.
Parks presents days of free outdoor activities for children to enjoy in New York City's parks this summer. Festivals provide a day of safe, fun, and free activities for children and their families throughout the city. Moon bounce, rides, dance contests, a balloon sculptor, and carnival games keep children active and busy. Arts and crafts, including flower-making, face painting, sand art, and lanyard beads, add to the day's festivities. A DJ and puppet show are also present to entertain the children.
