NOTICE: In order to enter the pool, each swimmer must present a lock and swim cap. Locks may be operated by a key or combination; however, if the patron presents a substandard lock, at the discretion of the aquatic staff, they will not be allowed into the locker room area.

Classes and Programs

The FMCP Aquatic Center will be offering free and fee-based programs and classes for all ages. The New York City Department of Parks & Recreation presents swimming instruction, senior aerobics, and family swimming. If you are a member of any Parks recreation center and indoor pools anywhere in the five boroughs, your membership grants you access to the FMCP Aquatic Center.

Membership Structure

Standard membership includes scheduled access to pool, gym, and other facilities for one year.

Indoor Pool	$10	$75	Free
You can pay for a membership with a check or money order made out to "Department of Parks & Recreation" or by credit card. Please bring two forms of identification, including a photo ID.

As a benefit of being a NYC Parks & Recreation Member, you will not only enjoy the amenities of the Recreation Center, but you will also have free access to the Flushing Meadows Corona Park Aquatic Center and some of the free programs provided by the NYC Department of Parks and Recreation.

Pool Details

Opening date: February 29, 2008
Size: 25 meters x 50 meters (7’-6” deep to 12’-9” deep) with ten lanes (Olympic-sized)
Diving Boards: 3 (one 3-meter and two 1-meter)

Accessible Pool The pool features a raised floor and lift.

Special Features

The tank can be divided into three sections. One has a moveable floor to reduce the depth of the pool, one section at 7'-6"and a diving tank at 12'-9".
Facility includes a mezzanine bleacher section that seats approximately 450 spectators.
An outdoor terrace adjacent to the pool deck.
