Environmental Education

GreenApple Corps members work with the public and private schools to provide environmental education to Kindergarten–5th graders in communities that don't have immediate access to parks or natural areas. Our topics include: botany, forest ecology, native and invasive/exotic vegetation, recycling, composting, trees and ornithology. Children in GreenApple partnership schools learn through indoor activities and lessons as well as outdoor, hands–on service learning projects
